As hard as I tried to get my sister back here, I suppose my heart wasn't in it enough. I'd rather her be here where I can guarantee she's safe, but, not here Anything else... well... I suppose that just means I didn't get any wish granted. But I'm glad that others got what they wanted. Even if they're little things, they're sure to make life better here for everyone.

A lot of people from out world have been showing up here. Really, I think it's pretty cool, but... when you think about it... It's not always good people that come here. So... really, it seems like it's only a matter of time before someone like Luca shows up. Or... who was that other guy Riou? That... king that you had to stop. I can't remember his name... Though, I guess that's not too important. The important thing is that some pretty evil people CAN come here.

Well, it's just been on my mind lately... But, I shouldn't worry that much about it. there's more important things here to take care of.

There... that should take care of everyone at the Police Station.

I'm probably not as well known around here as Tir is, but I'm a good friend of his, Riou. I'm not calling myself a doctor, and, I'm not trying to replace any of them, but if anybody has any minor injuries, like cuts or bruises, I'm pretty sure me and my rune can take care of them. If it's anything serious like a near-fatal wound or broken bones, I can't really help with it that much.

**The device drops on the ground and clicks on.

Thinking it's high time he quit moping and get back to his duty as an officer, though, mostly a patrolman, Riou's found himself a pack of Wolves munching on some scavenged scraps of some other creature (or something, Riou's not interested). There seems to be a slight glow to him as he charges the pack of four. Only couple of the four notice him at first, but before they can take time away from eating, Riou's already dealt a crushing blow to one of the unaware wolves. As the aware ones finally ready to pounce, Riou draws his other tonfa across the ribs of the second wolf, sending it rolling off a couple of feet.

Wolf number three lunges for him, catching a straight thrust of the tonfa to the face; the wolf twists and flails in the air before rolling to the street. The last manages to get within a threatening range, but crashes it's teeth down onto the broad side of his weapon. It too takes a crushing blow to the skull as it growls and gnashes on Riou's tonfa. However it doesn't seem to release his weapon after it's death. With a quick withdrawal of his arm, he frees his tonfa and smacks the wolf away before it can freely hit the ground.

Done with that, Riou moves to retrieve his communicator, realizing he'd dropped it before. As he approaches, the pale glowing becomes more obvious, but fades before he reaches the device.**

Oh... it turned on? That seems to happen a lot. **Click**

This... isn't fair. You can't just take my sister away. So... maybe she nags me, and doesn't really trust me by myself... but... she's my sister. You can't just take her away... again...

"Hey... Riou." [ pause ] "...I didn't notice before, but. You've become really experienced, huh?"

"Oh, yeah. I kind of had to after a while. We had some strange guy..." [pause] "Hai Yo was his name. He showed up and offered to cook for the army, but after a while a lot of strange samurai like cooks would show up and I'd get stuck helping him cook for these competitions..."

( What's that? Samurai cooks? )

**Riou has made a snowmans! He IS 14 (or fifteen, he did stop aging) But, it looks a bit weird for him to outside with his tonfa laid in the snow as he builds up (poorly) said snowman. He's only just learned by watching other people do it. Taking up his tonfa he moves back a ways. Then taking up his stance, he charges the snowman.

In a plume of snow, he skids to a stop a little ways past it, the upper half of the snowman smashed away while Riou looks like he's just finished swinging. Putting the tonfa down, he starts to put the snow-dummy back together to do it again!**

[Filter to police]

Minato, I was wrong. The only thing that had been keeping me at the hospital was myself, and the recent environmental issues.  I can use my rune to guard from the rain, so I can take myself and likely a group of 5 or 6 others should the case be.  I don't know where we stand on the situation with Kadaj, but I saw what he had done to Angeal. 

Whatever I'm needed for, I'm ready.

It looks like... nothing but night outside. I wonder... Is this part of all the shaking from the last few days? I hope... well, I'm sure not everyone's okay, but, I suppose I should wish everyone a speedy recovery, for the ones that are hurt.

AGH... I'm so USELESS... All I can do is protect people... and barely teach them to protect themselves. I know I can do more than this. I KNOW I CAN... but, I can't...

I could've done something... It saved my best friend from death... I could've...

Riou reporting in, again. Patrolling, at least my patrol, isn't doing much good as far as catching anyone in the act of these murders. Nobody I personally know has contracted the illness that's been going around either. Maybe it's just my luck? Or my rune is still somehow working?

Speaking of, what's the availability of someone getting my chip taken out. I'm sure that my Rune can at least help with the sick.

I tried to investigate an attack on a girl named Ashe, but the only witness was extremely uncooperative. I didn't think I should press the issue too much either.

I think I need to use this before it shocks me. I don't want to go through that.

Tir... I'm sorry I had to hit you the other day. But, you just weren't acting like yourself. I know I probably don't know you as well as some people here but, you never struck me as the type to panic over some kind of lie.

I know you've killed people and creatures, and with the rune. It's part of the war. We can't really avoid it, even if we want to. But, even if it's like, a necessary evil, we can't... well... we can't let the past get to us like that.

You're older than me Tir, shouldn't you be the one talking to me like this?

I talked to Tir about this recently, but, I forgot to ask. How exactly do I join the police force?
